The Serengeti is Africa's most iconic safari destination. A UNESCO World Heritage Site spanning 14,763 km², its name in the Maasai language means "endless plains" — and that's exactly what you'll experience: vast, sweeping savannah stretching to the horizon under enormous African skies.

The Serengeti is the stage for the world's greatest wildlife spectacle: the Great Wildebeest Migration — over 1.5 million wildebeest, 500,000 zebra, and 200,000 gazelle moving in a continuous clockwise circuit through the ecosystem. The park also supports the highest density of lion in Africa, as well as leopard, cheetah, elephant, buffalo, and over 500 bird species.
